Webhook Configuration in the BVNK Portal

What is a Webhook?

Webhooks are a form of event-driven communication, which means they execute immediately after a request is received. This mechanism allows BVNK to send real-time data to you when a specific event occurs such as a payin or a payout, the update of the event is sent via an HTTP request.

What is a Webhook URL?

Provided by you, the BVNK customer, and acts as a phone number that the BVNK platform can call when an event happens.

To ensure a webhook URL works, the certificate it's built on should be public, valid, not expired, and supported by SSL or TLS. If the SSL or TLS version isn't supported, or the SSL certificate is expired or private, the webhook may return an error message.

How can Webhooks in the BVNK Portal be beneficial?

The Integrations Channel in the BVNK Portal allows you to configure real-time notifications via webhooks for key events such as; payins received, payouts sent out, and Virtual Accounts created.
