When creating a Crypto payin or Crypto payout, you are required to set an expiry date.
For Crypto payin’s, the expiry date can be set when using the “Request Crypto” functionality in the BVNK Portal. By default, the expiry date is set to 2 days.
For Crypto payouts, the expiry time can be set directly in the API request payload when submitting the Crypto payout request. More information is available in our API documentation: https://docs.bvnk.com/bvnk/use-cases/stablecoin-payments-for-platforms/pay-out-to-your-users/
What happens after a payment link has expired?
If an end-user opens an expired payment link, they'll receive the prompt below on the Hosted Payments Page
However, if the end-user still proceeds with the payment to an expired quote, this will result in a late payment.
