How does a payout work?

Merchants can create and send pay-out links as a form of refund. The end user that receives a payout link will receive the equivalent cryptocurrency amount to what is displayed on the payout page.

Payouts can be created in two ways:

• Via the BVNK portal, using the "Create payment" button in the "Payments" tab. The option "Out" must be selected as a type:

• Using an API request and selecting "type" = "OUT".

Money can be taken out of a merchant's BVNK account in other ways too:

• Fiat withdrawal: available only to the merchant's previously registered bank account.
• Third-party payments: available only to pre-registered third parties and selected merchants.
