When you activated 2FA on your BVNK account, you bound your profile to a uniquely identified instance of an authenticator app.
To bind your profile with the app on your new phone:
- Deactivate 2FA on your account before you move to your new phone, otherwise you will be locked out of your account.
If you did not do so and cannot easily return to the previous device or access the authenticator app on it, you can request a manual 2FA deactivation.
- Repeat our QR code-based authenticator app registration process.
Note: Changing your SIM card or phone number will not affect your BVNK 2FA.
