You are able to update the wallet linked to an existing Merchant ID at any time via the BVNK Portal. This allows you to choose and edit which wallet should be used for processing payin's and payout's for that specific Merchant ID.
This is useful when you want to:
Route payment activity to a different wallet
Start using a newly created wallet
Align settlements with your operational setup
Steps to update a wallet linked to a Merchant ID
Log into BVNK portal
Navigate to "Manage Account" and click on "Manage Merchants"
Locate the relevant Merchant ID, click the three-dot menu on the right and select "Edit"
Open the "Wallet" field dropdown
Select the required wallet from the dropdown list
Click "Save" to apply the change
Once saved, the selected wallet will be used for all future payment activity linked with that Merchant ID.
What happens when I edit a Merchant ID wallet?
All new payin's and payouts will be processed using the newly selected wallet
Any existing balance remains in the previously linked wallet
Updating the wallet does not affect completed or processing transactions.
