After you have created a crypto payment (either from the Merchant Portal or via API), you will see a list of your payments in the "Payment Links" section.
This is the section where you can track the progress of all your crypto payments.
What are the different status?
Status | What it means |
Pending |
The payment has been created and is awaiting the payer to select which crypto currency they would like to make payment |
Processing |
The payer has made the payment in their desired crypto currency and sent their funds in. The payment is busy completing on the blockchain and BVNK is monitoring its progress |
Complete |
The funds have successfully been received and the transaction is complete. |
OnHold |
When a transaction needs to be reviewed for security reasons we will place it on hold and update the status, before continuing to process the payment |
Underpaid |
When the quote that was given to the payer has been underpaid. (Speak to your account manager about available configurations for under or over payments) |
Let's see what this looks like in action
1. You create a payment link and send it to the payer to make payment.
The status of the payment will start in Pending
2. The payer selects the crypto currency they want to make payment in
When the payer has selected the crypto they want to pay in and accepted the quote of the payment, the status in the Merchant Portal will change to Processing.
3. The funds have been detected on the blockchain and BVNK begin to process the payment
When the payment is processing, it means that BVNK is actively monitoring the blockchain to confirm the payment and the necessary safety checks are underway to process the payment securely.
4. The payment is completed and the funds have been received
Once the payment has finalised on the blockchain, and everything has been completed, the status will change to COMPLETE. At this point, BVNK will convert the crypto to the desired fiat currency and settle the merchant in their Fiat account.
5. Reviewing the transaction details
Once the payment is complete, you will be able to review the settlement in your Fiat Wallet you selected to receive the funds into. You will find details such as the exchange rate at the time of the payment, the currency used to pay the invoice and the actual amount paid in crypto.
