API keys are essential tools that allow your developer team to integrate and interact with our platform programmatically. Let's get started:
- Navigate to “Integrations”: This is where you can manage integrations and developer settings for your BVNK account.
- Select “API Keys”.
- Click “+ Generate API Key” to begin creating a new key.
- Set whitelisted IP: This allows you to restrict which IP addresses can use the API key to interact with your BVNK account.
- Select “Continue” to confirm the settings and enter your 2FA code to successfully generate the API key: Your new API key will then be generated and displayed.
- Share the API key securely with your developer team: Avoid sharing API keys via unencrypted channels (e.g. plain text email). Your developers will use this key to build and test BVNK integrations.
API keys are sensitive credentials and grant access to BVNK functionality. If you suspect a key has been compromised, revoke it immediately and generate a new one.
