Managing channels

You can manage your existing channels directly from the Merchant Portal.

From the left-hand navigation menu:

  1. Go to Manage account
  2. Click Manage channels

This will open the Manage channels page, where you can view and manage your existing channels.

What you can do in Manage channels

The Manage channels section allows you to:

  • View all existing channels
  • Copy and share a channel link with your end-users
  • Edit a channel description/reference
  • Delete a channel

View and share channel links

All existing channels are displayed in a list view.

For each channel, you can:

  • View the channel reference / description
  • Copy the channel link to share with your customer or end-user located in the side-view panel once clicked.

Edit a channel reference

To edit a channel reference:

  1. Locate the relevant channel in the list
  2. Click on the 3 dots on the channel and click on "Edit"
  3. Update the "channel description"
  4. Click "Save"

Important: Channel descriptions can only be edited if the channel has no existing payments linked to it. If payments already exist for that channel, editing will be blocked and an error message will be displayed. This is an intentional control to preserve payment traceability, reconciliation, and audit integrity.

Delete a channel

To delete a channel:

  1. Locate the relevant channel and click on the 3 dots on the channel
  2. Click "Delete"
  3. Review the confirmation prompt and click "Delete" to confirm the deletion

  4. The Channel will then be deleted and removed from your channels list
